I just finished a 2.2m Matrix. I didn't know they made a bigger one.
It is very straight forward to build. I bought mine with the pipe, tank and gear. If I was to do it again, I would get it with their servos installed too.
I ended up buying the Pilot servos which are unique and very nice. They fit right in and all the linkages align.
I'm using an X120/132 turbine and the airplane comes out a little nose heavy. If you use a bigger turbine and vector pipe, it may be tail heavy, but there is loads of room for batteries up front.
I think the composite construction and finish was very good. The included hardware and wiring was all very good. It really is a top notch kit.
Here are a few pre-construction photos.
