wingspar,
The directions noted you had to cut your own opening in the fuse for the rudder wires.
Have you gotten the grear for yours yet?
What type of glue are you using to attach the hinges?
Will you be adding the swastika to the rudder?
I 'm contemplating on the amount of work required to change mine out to look like Prillers ride with the black 13 on it and the ace of hearts card on the side.

Directions? I can't be bothered reading directions
No gear yet
I'm using JB weld two part clear epoxy. This stuff set up clear and hard. Not gummy like so many other five minute epoxies.
Yes, I'm adding a swastika
Black 13 should be great. My favorite is Willi's black 8

The other thing missing from this plane are the guns; known as the "butcher bird" it would be a crime not to get those 6 machine gun on this plane.
I'm already looking at getting them for mine and at callies graphics for the Priller liverey.
Already have what I need to make the cockpit canopy open and close.

I received mine last week as well. I run the Evo7-77 motors a lot but was considering a Saito FG90 for this one. Then a friend noted that a Moki 150-180 might fit so when I got home I checked and it could be shoehorned in. I have a Moki 180 that I guess I will be putting in mine. As long as structurally it can handle the extra couple of pounds.
The TopRC gear look pretty good "Beefy" the air piston a bit small though.
A good source for a scale FW prop.

Gear, spinner and prop scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.
All hinging and control horns installed and control horns painted. Note that I reverse the horns on the flap. I think it gives much better geometry in the down position.
EME 70 with starter installed. Need the spinner and prop to determine its final forward location or how many washers to add for the prop to clear the cowl.

Not if you really know what you are looking at.
The Lower Oleo is way too small for this Size and Weight Plane.
The Down Locks are a Joke. Way to Thin and Made from Soft Aluminum.
The Trunion is again Way too Small for this Size Plane.
The Cylinder hits the Strut when it in the Up Position and makes the Cylinder Leak.
I could go on, but what do I know.
Poor Copy of Actual Quality Retracts.

My comment was only comparing the picture to what Robart offered for the TF 190.
According to caimindist. com...Robart has made a set for this Toprc 190.
That set is the "Original Air gear for toprc fw190" correct?
I agree the gear shown above doesn't have a strong looking downlock.

I am only trying to inform the average modeler that goes by what the Distributor tells them is good.
These are just as bad as what Robart offered for the Top Flite.
They can put the blame on the Pilot, but it's just Laziness and lack of knowledge.

As Darrell at Sierra will be making retracts for this plane, I've ordered out a set. All of the gear that I've gotten from Sierra has been truly outstanding. The ruggedness of Darrell's gear is needed at our less that perfect runway.
I was kind of hoping to be the first to post a flight video of this aircraft but that doesn't look like that will happen now.

Maybe I missed it, but I sure wish you made retracts for the Hangar 9 Corsair 60cc! I haven't seen anything other than the F6F modded to fit. The FW190 retracts will be awesome I'm sure!
